The Running Man was a solid action flick and the action scenes were actually really well done and entertaining, but it was a little bit messy. The social commentary was great, but also super scary considering how close we are to some of the elements in this kind of world, closer than I think most people are willing to admit. And that almost takes away some of the enjoyment for me. I used to be able to watch these kinds of movies and then just go on with my life, but were in a time of such uncertainty, that this doesn’t feel too far off from reality at times. Glen Powell is an action star and he continues to grow on me more and more, as an actor and as a person. 

Overall, I did enjoy this and it was super entertaining pretty much all the way through, it does have its pacing issues, but I still had a fun time (for the most part).
