[Criteria: 2/9 films from a franchise, ALIEN]

Fede Álvarez borrows quite liberally from Alien (1979) to tell this tale and is quite successful at pulling off the formula that worked so well. Cailee Spaeny is really good and so are the others in the crew. Again, brilliant use of special effects and practical effects combined with great set design. Have very conflicting thoughts about CGI resurrection of Ian Holms that kinda pissed me off and doesn't really feel like his image was required in the movie. But rest everything was quite fun.
