This is an experiment where we vote for the best films of 2019 using the EXACT SAME RULES as the Oscars do for Best Picture.

2787 people voted for the nominees, meaning each gained at least 140 first place votes in a single transferrable vote system. Now you just need to vote for the winner. Same rules apply, but now you rank the nominees and the first to gain 50% of the first place votes win (least chosen films eliminated and their second places transferred over etc).
