Jesus Christ, this is terrifying. The scariest found footage movie since BLAIR WITCH and the most effective no-budget indie I’ve seen in ages. The sound design makes it sing but I don’t want to sell the imagery short.
2023 is shaping up to be the year of indie experimental horror. This delivered all that I hoped to get out of SKINAMARINK, where the minimalism and the form really add to it and are inherent to why it works.
I’ve heard of people going to the desert to find themselves but going to the desert to lose yourself????
