yeah this was cheesy, but i don't care. it was the CW gothic teen angst that i live and breathe for, with the hottest cast i've ever seen in my life. jack's pitch of this movie to me was "you'll love all the pretty boy twinks", and i'll be damned if he wasn't 100% correct. it's like twilight meets riverdale meets shadowhunters meets the vampire diaries, and i'm here for it. i will probably rewatch this a lot with absolutely no shame in my game. the only thing that hinders me from rating this 4 stars was the awful stone sour, slipknot, system of a down - esque soundtrack. hard no from me :/ but this was made in 2006, the peak bullet for my valentine, breaking benjamin, three days grace era, so my middle school emo girl younger self can't be too mad at it. this is definitely my new guilty pleasure and i am not ashamed.
