Learn to Search the Library's Catalog and Discovery Tool: BSU Discovery
BSU Discovery provides simple, one-stop searching for books, e-books, videos, articles, digital media, and more! It also helps you manage your research. Sign-in in order to:
- Renew Books
- Save a Create Favorites List
- Export citations to Refworks
- View full search results (some databases only show results when you're signed in).
Find BSU Discovery
1. Start on BSU’s homepage and select “Library”, which is the fourth from the left on the yellow menu ribbon at the top right.

2. There is the search box of BSU Discovery in the center of the window. Enter your keyword to start searching. Or, click on the "BSU Discovery", which is the first from the left on the black menu ribbon at the top.

3. Click "sign-in" on the 2nd from the left at the top right corner on the black menu ribbon of the BSU Discovery, and use your Bowie SSO credentials to continue.

4. The new BSU Secure Login window will open. Enter your BSU username in the upper box and password in the lower box on this screen. You no longer need your 14-digit library card number.
You're Signed In!
5. Your name will appear in the top right corner of the BSU Discovery window after logging in to BSU Discovery. Make sure you’re signed in by looking for your name at the top right corner, and begin your search!
