“I Have A Dream” Foundation of Boulder County
Empowering Boulder County Youth Through Long-Term Academic and Career Support
Our mission is to partner with youth and their families as they successfully navigate school, college, and career by providing a holistic academic, social, and emotional program from elementary school through college, along with postsecondary scholarship assistance.
Our dream is a world where every child has equitable access to the educational and career opportunities that will ignite their innate potential.
We partner with students and families facing economic barriers—many eligible for free and reduced lunch—to provide more than a decade of consistent academic support, social-emotional learning, enrichment, and college and career guidance.
Dreamer Scholars receive tutoring, homework help, and hands-on learning opportunities throughout the school year. We partner with schools, AmeriCorps (ACs), and community educators to reinforce core academic skills and encourage a lifelong love of learning.

Academic Support
Dreamer Scholars receive tutoring, homework help, and hands-on learning opportunities throughout the school year. We partner with schools, AmeriCorps (ACs), and community educators to reinforce core academic skills and encourage a lifelong love of learning.
Social-Emotional Learning
We help students build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging through mentoring relationships, restorative practices, mindfulness techniques, and culturally responsive activities.
Enrichment & Field Trips
IHDF provides frequent enrichment experiences—including arts, STEM, nature-based learning, and local excursions—that spark curiosity and expand students’ perspectives. Dreamer Scholars participate in frequent field trips aligned with academic and personal growth goals.
College & Career Readiness
We prepare Dreamer Scholars for postsecondary pathways through workshops, scholarship guidance, career exploration, and facilitate 15–20 college visits per year. Our goal is for every student to graduate high school and confidently step into future opportunities.
