Any 501c3 organization that is helping orphans, children in foster care or adoption causes can hold a Both Hands project to raise funds for their mission.

After approval, the Both Hands project process usually takes about 6-8 weeks to allow for planning and execution of the project. You can shorten or lengthen that timeline as it works best for you and your team. The critical factors in executing a project are gathering your core team and then finding a widow to serve.

The goal is to have 100% of the supplies donated for the work on the widow’s house. That is why we usually encourage our teams to prioritize projects that are labor intensive rather than supply intensive. 

Cleaning, decluttering, landscaping, painting, etc. are examples of a labor intensive project. We provide tips to get supplies donated for the project day and provide a $1,000 supply grant for all projects, which can be used for postage and project day supplies.

We will coach you and your team on how to raise awareness and support for your project. We'll establish a fundraising webpage and support letter explaining the project. As funds come in, Both Hands will distribute tax receipts to donors and send the funds raised to your organization in a lump sum.

People are usually curious about how Both Hands operates when they learn about what we do. Remind your team that we raise our funds through private donors, grants, and recurring donors. We’re able to provide our services for free because we’re fully funded by generous donors. There is no catch! It’s a win-win-win-win.

If your organization is sponsored by a US-based 501c3 organization then you could still plan a project. The funds raised can benefit orphans outside of the USA.
