This is the graphic/art journal of Bebe, aka theyspunaweb on LJ. I used to make icons over at Throwingchairs on LJ with my best GD friend, Casey who is now making icons at her own journal, Originate on LJ. In this journal I will post all icons created for LJ use and also any other artwork/intersting art realated stuff I have! It's mostly for LJ icons though, but I am not opposed to posting other interesting art related things. I am going to school at the Art Institute of Seattle for Graphic Design to get my BA. I am becoming obsessed with the 'art world' so, I plan to add a lot here.
The header image and one used in the community's default image is a piece that I have done on canvas, with acrylic and house paint.
The idea for the title of this community came from a quote from an awesome Graphic Designer, David Carson:

"Like a liquid emotion the wave travels thousands of miles to meet us; and like every emotion, it's born of storms." - David Carson
