been a while, yeah? nutshell of this year: moved out and got married.

mike and i didn't eat any fast food for a while (mostly because of money, not health) but we had a little extra $$$ the last few days and decided to go out... three times total, i think. oh my god. i felt soooo sick after eating that greasy greasy food. i think from now on if we go out, we'll have to find better places to go.

we went joan's yesterday to celebrate christmas with my family. it was fun. i really enjoy hanging out with ross, ryan, marianne and karibia. doesn't happen too often. joan got us a really cool blue glass table lighter and a cement owl. so i coloured the owl. he's so pretty! love to customize...

today i'm baking with jaymie. i haven't decided what to make yet. i should probably figure it out so i can pop over to the grocery store and get the ingedients. tis all for now.

kinda fucked up on sunny's baby gift, but kicked brendan's ass a little in doa... my arm itches like crazy, i'll put pics up as soon as the peeling stops. love it. my tattoo is cooler than yours.

edit: oh yeah, found shoes... black bootie type things- they don't really match and i can't really walk in them - but you know me when it comes to lovely black heels that i can't walk in...

found a dress for the wedding...

wow, today was shit.

dave and janice got home safely... greg actually worked on the kitchen today. osiris just jumped on my hip and then over my back. so heavy! and claws for days. jezebel got her first black eye. she was jumping around jaymie's house and tried to do a running hand stand on the ottoman- well, she overshot it a little and ended up flipping over it and hitting her face on the coffee table. at least it wasn't for the first day of school. kids, what can you do with 'em? my aunt wants to go to the la mesa car show tomorrow night, but i don't think i'm up for walking around that much. and i saw the cutest little teeniest snake today. he was about four inches long and heather poked him with a stick. i forget what kind she thought it was. oh well.

mike bought me a gloomy bear yesterday since i've been feeling like shit.

so i can mostly stand upright now... i'm not going to push it though 'cause i tried doing that a few days ago and and it just made everything angry. so i'm taking it a little easy, but still getting up and walking around. greg and his son are here to work on the kitchen so stoked on that. i wonder how quick they'll get everything done and if they're actually going to work on it regularly. chatted with my real dad via yahoo messenger last night. it was only for a few minutes and he mostly apologized for his spelling. i think i'm going to have to be patient with him because of his strokes. it's his birthday on the 17th. i think that's lauren's birthday too. it's hard to believe it's already august. heather came to visit me yesterday! it was so nice having someone over here. i need to get birthday cards out to my dad and steve...

yay! heather helped me with my live journal customization issues. so now i have my gloomy layout... my back still hurts like a bitch, but it's getting better.
