Bookstore Quest

Bookstore Quest is an incremental game where you're in charge of running a small bookstore. Your goal is to transform a small and struggling business into the best bookstore within the magical world in which this game is set. To do so, you will have to select which genres are most interesting to your customers, organize the shelves, and recommend books to your customers.

A bookstore with humble beginnings

When you start playing Bookstore Quest, you will have a very small bookstore with nothing more than a new releases table where customers can come to buy a book at random. That said, as soon as you get a little money, you will be able to buy your first themed bookshelf. You can decide which genres you want to focus on: crime, romance, science fiction, horror, fantasy... Depending on the type of shelves you choose, you will attract more or fewer customers.

Expand your business to infinity and beyond

As soon as you build your first bookshelf, you'll be selling tons of books and earning millions of dollars in 10 minutes or less. With this money, you'll be able to acquire more shelves dedicated to more genres, which will allow you to continue purchasing new upgrades. There are all kinds of upgrades: You will be able to make the books more expensive for short periods of time, attract more customers, or have customers ask you for personalized recommendations.

Recommend books and earn diamonds

In Bookstore Quest, there are several fun minigames. One of them involves a customer asking you for a good book in a specific genre, prompting you to choose from a series of emojis whichever ones you think best fit that genre. If you do a good job, you'll earn a couple of diamonds. These diamonds are very useful because they let your bookshelves hold an unlimited amount of books.
