We welcome opportunities to collaborate with authors, illustrators, and creators through a range of programs that support our mission and serve our readers.

Below are the current ways you can work with us:
Book Talk
A formal, scheduled author presentation and book signing hosted in our store. These events are ideal for traditionally published authors with new or upcoming releases, especially those on national or regional tours. Book Talks are curated and booked several months in advance as part of our regular event programming.
If your book is traditionally published and distributed through standard retail channels (fully returnable, 45%+ discount), please have your publisher reach out to our Program Director directly.
Meet & Greet
A casual author appearance where readers can drop in, engage in conversation, and get their books signed.
After School Meet & Greet
Similar to above but part of our youth programming, these events include themed activities, snacks, and book signings designed to foster early literacy and creativity.
Community Showcase
A semi-annual in-store event celebrating local voices and creative work across genres and audiences. The Community Showcase highlights self-published and independent authors with strong ties to the Triad region, offering a welcoming space for authors to connect directly with local readers and celebrate the rich creative talent of our region.
Pre-Order Campaigns
We partner with authors and publishers to run targeted pre-order campaigns for new releases. Campaigns may include signed books, exclusive content, or in-store events to generate buzz and support early sales.
Stocking Your Book
We review submissions for books that align with our mission. Priority is given to titles available through standard distribution channels (e.g., Ingram) at a full retailer discount and fully returnable. If your book is available through a publisher or a distributor such as Ingram at a standard retailer discount (minimum of 40%) and fully-returnable, please contact our Inventory Manager Caleb Masters. Local, self-published authors may be considered on a limited basis.
