Basic hotel, fine for an overnight layover - reconfirm your shuttle pickup before arrival
Pros:

When we finally got to the hotel due to shuttle issues, the room was basic but comfortable. The hotel was walking distance to the city and waterfront. Breakfast was basic but fine. The shuttle back to the airport was perfect.

Cons:

Unfortunately the hotel forgot to pick us up at the airport so we were stuck there with no phone, no local currency and no shuttle. It was an hour of stress that we did not need. When the shuttle finally came the driver went to departures rather than arrivals which caused a further unnecessary delay. Nowhere to eat at the hotel in the evening.

Perfectly stay
Pros:

All good, particularly they provide a service-pick up and drop off to the airport. The driver is very nice person and look after every customer. Reception people also very nice.to answer your questions. The morning meal suits people coming from different countries.

Heel behulpzaam personeel. Zeer vriendelijk. Goede locatie. De kamers zijn wat oud maar netjes, sfeervol en schoon

Cons:

De koffie was echt niet lekker en ik vind niet snel iets niet lekker. Verder was het ontbijt helemaal oke.

2.5 stars - not great value for money
Pros:

We were able to get a two bedroom suite, keeping the family together during our layover in Brunei. I liked this option much better than two separate hotel rooms.
The buffet breakfast was better than I expected after reading other reviews.

Cons:

I was turned off the property before we arrived after receiving scam messages in the app and directly via sms seeking my credit card details. The hotel refused to refund me after I asked to cancel the booking.
The room was extremely dated, the sheets were stained, toilet seats were dirty, and the bed was rock hard and pillows were very uncomfortable. The tv didn’t have any channels programmed. The shower had only cold water.

The pictures of the hotel on booking.com are much nicer than it looks in reality
Breakfast was really bad - toast, marmelade, noodles and French fries
There was a dirty T-shirt from a previous guest in the extra bed

It is a very standard hotel, but considering the price and the location in Brunei, it represents an excellent option. The rooms are clean, the location is within walking distance of the city center, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The airport pick-up and drop-off services are particularly convenient. That said, it would be a good time to consider some general maintenance improvements to the property.

The wifi did not work well, on celphone and computer!
