A relaxing stay in a beautiful, elegant hotel.
Pros:

This is a beautiful, elegant hotel in an old building that has been renovated with such glorious attention to detail in all areas from the elegant lobby to the fabulous cocktail bar and restaurant to the stylish comfortable rooms.

The location is perfect for exploring everything that Liverpool has to offer on foot or by the multitude of transport links right on the doorstep. We visited theatres, museums, galleries, restaurants and shops all within a ten minute walk.

The staff are trained to a very high standard and everyone I met from concierge to housekeeping gave excellent customer service with a smile. Nothing seemed too much. A special mention to Vivian in the bar who truly went out of her way to accommodate us and give five stars service.

Our deluxe double was smallish but beautifully thought out and stylish with everything we needed for our short stay. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom with walk in shower was gorgeous. We slept like babies and it’s hard to believe this place is on a busy main road in Liverpool Centre.

We took the breakfast included rate and were not disappointed with an extensive breakfast menu that set us up for the day and was more than worth the extra money. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful about food allergies and went out of their way to accommodate my dietary requirements. You could be asked to pay 15 pounds each for breakfast in a competitor hotel for a breakfast that would not come close to this.

All in all this hotel costs a little more than some other hotels in the city Centre but the added value is money well spent for what was a faultless stay in a relaxing luxurious environment.
