Exceptional Service Beyond Expectations – A Truly Memorable Stay

We recently stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Bintan, Lagoi Bay from April 17 to 19, 2026 (Room 6045), and from the bottom of our hearts, we are deeply grateful for the outstanding service we experienced throughout our stay.

What truly sets this hotel apart is its people. Every staff member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to assist—but there are a few individuals we would especially like to commend for their exemplary service.

FARREN was simply exceptional. Always smiling and full of positive energy, she made every dining experience at Rempah Kitchen something to look forward to. She would approach us even before we asked for assistance and maintained her cheerful demeanor from breakfast all the way through lunch and afternoon tea—it was truly impressive.

FARREL gave us a wonderful first impression at the concierge. He warmly welcomed us upon arrival, ensured we were comfortable during check-in, and immediately resolved our key card issue with a smile.

We were also incredibly touched by the thoughtful birthday welcome setup prepared by BERLINA, SETIAWAN, and SYAHRI for my father. It made him feel very special and set the tone for a meaningful celebration.

At Rempah Kitchen, JENNI stood out for her kindness. She happily entertained and played with my toddler during our afternoon snack, allowing us to enjoy our meal peacefully—something we truly appreciated as parents.

At Kenang Lyfe Foto, both SALSA and AZIZ were remarkable. Salsa was incredibly patient while I took my time choosing photos, never once making me feel rushed. Aziz, our photographer, guided us through poses with ease and professionalism, making the entire session enjoyable and natural.

VIONA was another standout—always smiling and approachable. Despite my repeated questions about our package, she remained patient and explained everything clearly without ever showing frustration.

We would also like to commend PUTRI and RAMA at the Rempah Kitchen cashier. Their extra effort to double-check our orders before processing payment gave us confidence and showed great attention to detail—something we didn’t experience in other hotels we’ve stayed in.

During my father’s birthday, we booked a Romantic Dinner, and although he initially felt tired and a bit grumpy from travel, everything changed thanks to the humor, patience, and excellent service of DIMAS, WAHYU, and NOVI. Despite some language barriers and our concerns at the time, they handled everything with grace and did their absolute best to accommodate us—truly commendable.

JANES and the drivers from check in to check out (sorry forgot to get their names) also deserves recognition for kindly assisting us on the bus back to the ferry terminal, ending our trip on a positive note. We appreciate the hassle free shuttle service!

Food & Facilities:
The food at Rempah Kitchen was delicious, with a wide variety of options that were not repetitive.

The heated pool was a standout feature—especially for senior citizens and families with toddlers like ours. It allowed my father, who usually avoids swimming due to cold water, to fully enjoy the experience. As a parent, it also gave me peace of mind knowing my baby wouldn’t be exposed to cold water.

We also appreciated the kids’ club and the staff who engaged warmly with the children, though the space is slightly smaller compared to other hotels we’ve visited.

We considered trying the spa, but found the rates a bit on the higher side, so we decided not to book during this stay.

Having traveled to hotels and restaurants in France, Monaco, Singapore, and Malaysia, we can confidently say that nothing compares to the genuine hospitality of the Indonesian people. The level of service here is truly world-class—warm, sincere, and exceeding expectations in every way.

Overall, if we return to Bintan, there is no question—we will choose Four Points by Sheraton again.

Beautiful view and surroundings and friendly staff

It was the best hotel I’ve stayed in. Beautiful pool, great breakfast, right on the beach.

Fabulous resort in relaxed and quiet setting. Perfect for a honeymoon

Très bel hôtel avec de nombreux points positifs : chambres spacieuses et bien équipées, piscines magnifiques, plage superbe, personnel très gentil et attentionné, et massages excellents.

I booked Four Points by Sheraton Bintan for my husband’s and my birthday trip as it’s one of the newer hotels in the area.

We stayed 4D3N in a Deluxe Garden King on the second floor — very close to reception yet still quiet.

Pros:
- New and modern property
- Good location
- Friendly, attentive staff
- Spacious and comfortable room

Areas for improvement:
- Room cleanliness (noticed some dust and stray hairs, more visible at night)
- Shower pressure could be stronger
- Pillows were too flat, even after requesting firmer ones
- Shower floor was quite slippery we actually cleaned it a few times immed after checking in
- Breakfast had variety and changed daily but was a bit hit or miss
- Main pool is quite shallow (ppl were walking in it than swimming 😄)

The hotel added a nice birthday touch they decorated the mirror, and I received a cake on my birthday morning — funny enough, my husband (whose birthday was the day before) didn’t 😆 We also enjoyed the complimentary photoshoot as a keepsake.

Overall, despite a few minor issues, we found it to be good value for money. The warm service really stood out and we would consider returning.
