I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast. I liked how functional the room was. The location was great being next to a gas station and just minutes away from commercial areas.
The refrigerator did not keep cool well. I had to reset it every 2 hours.
The staff was friendly, and the hotel was easy to reach by car.
The bed was not very comfortable, as the mattress was sagging and no longer provided enough support. The breakfast was very poor because everything was either already gone or broken. There was no orange juice, and the waffle maker couldn’t be used. There were barely any bagels or bread left, even though it was only 8 a.m.
The breakfast offered healthy choices. The pool was warm and perfect for my workout. The staff was very welcoming upon arrival. The location was ideal for my conference held at the nearby Community College.
I have no suggestions for improvement. All of my expectations were met. In some areas, my expectations were exceeded. I would recommend this hotel.
Very clean hotel with a friendly staff. The rooms are big and well designed. The trundle bed was great to have more sleeping options. Breakfast was quite good as well.
Breakfast was comparable to other Marriott locations. The variety was good, and the food was fresh. The option to make mini-waffles was a nice feature.
Evening meal was acceptable, but not outstanding.
Evening meal price was high for menu selections.
The staff was fantastic.
The people above us were loud. The milkshake machine at the sheetz next door was broken.
The free breakfast
The pool was either closed or had families in it. There was no time it was calm. It also said when I reserved the room that I'd have a bath and shower. It was only a shower. There was no way they could get us a room with a bath. So I was unable to use pool or a bath. I was also given late check out and they showed up 7 minutes after regular checkout. Even though we were given new room keys for a late check out.
Very convenient for my stay here in Frederick, family illness
Everything was great
Victoria at the front desk made the stay. She was friendly, personable, approachable and had great recommendations. She remembered us and asked us how our plans went. It’s those extra little efforts to make us feel important that truly added the most value to our stay.
No complaints
Good location. The included breakfast was excellent with eggs, meat, fresh fruit, oatmeal, waffles, juices all available. The staff was very friendly. The rooftop bar was closed for the winter and the lobby bar is only open on the weekends but the bartender went out of her way to take care of us. Bed comfortable and sheets clean.
The hallway has a mildewed smell when you get off the elevator. Our room wasn’t cleaned every day and the bathroom sink wasn’t cleaned several days even though the towels had been changed out and the bed made. The rooftop bar was closed for the winter which was disappointing.
