Great location. Near the T and Fenway.
Very expensive. There was a mild smell when you entered the room, plus toilet ran a lot.
Everything, the staff, room and the valet parking all were great. Everyone i dealt with was very helpful and kind. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Nothing
Jeff at the front desk was very king. In room breakfast was quick and excellent
Perfect place to stay for the Boston marathon. Location great and the staff was very friendly—esp Nuck, Frankie, and S! Loved the Recovery Room set up for runners on the second floor and the congratulations message in the room following the race.
We booked this hotel relatively last minute to watch a friend run the marathon! Based on the price we paid ($$$$) we were fully prepared to be disappointed. Were we ever wrong! The check in, staff, room and VIBES all exceeded our expectations. The room was large, clean with quality linens, the staff were fast and friendly, ready to assist you with whatever you needed. The watch party, coffee bar, pop up bar, cookies, snacks and water bottles were all nice extras. The best part of all was being able to walk directly out of the front doors right onto the race route (mile 25.2) to have an awesome spot to spectate the race with so many other spectators. The race was electric and the hotel really did a great job. You are also only a 10 min walk from Newbury and Boylston St. I would recommend the hotel for any trip to Boston, but do not hesitate to book this for the marathon.
Chris was a phenomenal help to us! Truly everyone on the staff including Calvin at the front desk and the staff running the coffee bar were also so kind to us as a family. The excitement about the Boston Marathon and congratulations and included pre-race items was all amazing!
I stayed at the Hotel Commonwealth for my first Boston marathon and it was incredible! Will definitely be staying here again next year!! Jeff went above and beyond post race to help us out and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The highlight of our trip was the Revoka room on floor 2; they had compression boots, saunas, massage guns, and gold plunges for all the athletes to use! I had never seen anything like it before it was amazing! Highly recommend staying here for race weekend
Perhaps the best place to stay in Boston. Especially if you are a baseball fan or running the Boston marathon. The rooms are huge and hospitality deserters an A+ rating. We requested extra pillows/sheets and even a microwave and it was delivered promptly. On the day of the race breakfast was provides and it is a short walk from the expo after the race. Kenmore station is literally part of the building if you plan to explore Boston. I could go on and on and hotel common wealth will be my permanent residence in Boston when I ever visit the city. Thank you for making my Boston Marathon memorable!
We were very happy to stay at the Commonwealth Hotel. The service was excellent, the rooms were very spacious, and on top of everything, on the day of the marathon they surprised us — the thoughtful gesture was very special.
GREAT marathon experience! Would absolutely stay here again for the convenience and service. Kabir especially took care of us during a hectic post race environment
This place is amazing, especially for the Red Sox and Marathon- which runs RIGHT in front of the hotel. They were friendly, helpful and accommodating and will absolutely come back!
Every interaction with staff was awesome, friendly, helpful, warm and engaging.
Loved the view of Fenway Park from our room - it was the reason we came to Boston in the first place.
Not much to say here. No complaints!
