Love this Hotel!
Pros:

We loved that we could bring our doggies as they are part of our family! The staff is wonderful, even providing you with a goodie bag for each pet. The rooms were beautiful, we stayed up on the hospitality level and thoroughly enjoyed the evening happy hour and morning coffee/snacks. The location was perfect, and the rooms were modern and clean.

Cons:

There really wasn’t anything that we didn’t like about the property! Everything was great! I will mention that they do have events that can be a bit loud. If you are concerned about that, just make sure you are above the fourth floor and you won’t hear it.

For the short time that we were there, it was not last pleasant. I didn’t feel welcome.
Pros:

The staff not friendly!!! I pay for continental breakfast didn’t receive the passes. The food is very bad in the service. Terrible. I would not come back to the place anymore for the price. It was ridiculous.

Cons:

The location and the day that we check out, we had a walk like three blocks for a parking lot with our luggage. They didn’t offer the shuttle.

A very pleasant experience
Pros:

Walking distance to Reno Ballroom which I’m going to attend an event. Room is huge. There was a welcome message with my name on it on tv screen when I entered the room. So warm ☺️. Bathroom is very clean, updated, and nice. Staff is helpful. I originally booked for 2 queen bed for me and my daughter but the receptionist is very nice to change to a King for myself only.
They have rock climbing both indoors and outdoor and the outdoor one is very impressive.

Cons:

Nothing

Great update to an old classic hotel
Pros:

Awesome update to the old Fitzgerald, the room was very nice and even with the Saturday night noise off Virginia Street, it was pretty quiet in the room.. staff were amazing.

Nice, clean and pleasant place to stay
Pros:

A very clean and comfortable property. Right in the casino area of town. Restaurant was a class act with an assortment of meal options. The 'executive floor' lounge for morning and happy hour was a little underwhelming. There was nothing but coffee for the mornings and happy hour had only beverages for purchase. Would offer that they have pastries and fruit for the mornings and a daily free drink ticket upon arrival for those staying on the 15/16th floor. We had a southern view which looked out towards the river and was a sunny room even if the window space was a little small but they did open a little bit. Might stay there again if in the area.

Dog Friendly hotel in great location
Pros:

Great visit with our husky in tow-visited reno to check out University of NV Reno for our son. Friendly valet, easy check in, spacious room with dog treats. nice dog park 1 block away which we enjoyed. walkable to River front, casinos, restaurants and a block from the amtrak station which was perfect when we realized we had to get my daughter back to Sacramento in. pinch for school. Nice restaurant/ bar attached but alas not pet friendly unless yours is a service dog. very cool climbing gym second floor! will be back

Good Reno stay without a casino
Pros:

The staff here - wow. The front desk and valet are so kind, friendly and helpful. Joseph at the front is amazing and someone is there 24 hours. The gym, sauna, rock wall are nice amenities. We purposely chose a hotel that did not have a casino. There is a restaurant downstairs with a full bar. The reason for my 4 circles is just a few housekeeping things. They forgot us one day for cleaning, another time took our three hanging towels (which is fine) but then left only 1 towel, almost out of TP and didn’t get a new one. Stuff like that. The rooms were quiet as far as neighbors next and above. But the door slamming in the hallway is pretty loud.

Parking
Pros:

As a guest I believe that parking should be free for those who choose to stay at your hotel. That the parking garage was across the street with no one to provide ample security or transport back to the hotel makes paying for parking grossly inappropriate.
