Pros:

The hotel is located right in the CBD, which made it a very convenient option for attending a conference at the exhibition centre.

Cons:

The property itself is quite old and dated and appears to be in need of renovation. I had booked a double room as others was meant to join me, but the room was not set up accordingly. There were only two mugs, one teaspoon, one armchair, and no table to sit at despite there being plenty of space. The shower was blocked and took forever to drain so by end of shower your standing in a tub full of water.
The lack of soundproofing was also a major issue. I could clearly hear someone else’s movie playing on the first night, and loud, disruptive guests returning back drunk from the football the following night until early morning.
Overall, while the location is excellent, the condition of the hotel and lack of basic amenities and noise control made for a disappointing stay.

Pros:

Cons:

The bathroom was quite small, and there were no bathrobes provided, which was disappointing for a 5-star hotel stay. Unfortunately, after just one night, my partner developed what appeared to be bed bug bites, raising concerns about bedding cleanliness.

Excellent location in an aging hotel but clean and tidy with very comfy beds.
Pros:

The room was very clean and tidy. The location is excellent. Walking distance to all Adelaide attractions and the tram to access the Convention Centre, too. We did not access the restaurant this trip.

Cons:

The lifts were slow and took too long to access. This needs addressing.
