How It Works

Discover how easy our dog walking and pet sitting service is with these 5 simple steps. From scheduling your first appointment to enjoying peace of mind while you’re away, we’ve streamlined the process to make it effortless for you and your furry friends.

Simply fill out the form and set up your free consultation.

We will come to your home to meet you and your pets. Our staff will learn about your pets and review any paperwork that is necessary for us to start the service. You can show us your pet’s routine, entry instructions, and anything else you would like done during each visit. The consultation is completely free, and there is no obligation to book.

After your consultation is complete and we have received the keys and/or entry information, you can book at any time. All non-emergency and regular bookings (i.e., next week, next month) should be made using our scheduling email. Same-day and next-day requests can be submitted via text or phone.

Once your visit is booked, your pet sitter or dog walker will come to your home within the agreed-upon scheduled time frame. They will use any notes or directions provided during the consultation or updated by you at a later date to complete the visit.

After each visit, you’ll receive a digital report including notes, photos, and GPS-tracked walk details—delivered to your email and available in your client app.

We provide our pet sitting and dog walking services to ALL areas of Virginia Beach, and Norfolk and most areas of Chesapeake.

We want to hear from you! There is no one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to our furry companions. Choose from our guaranteed visit time options of 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or 60 minutes.

We also offer a 90-minute visit that can be scheduled after 4 PM. Simply inform your pet sitter about what you would like done during each visit for your home and pets.

If you are uncertain about the visit length you may need, this can be discussed during your free consultation. Each client has different needs, and what suits a high-energy young pup is likely to be different from the requirements of a senior dog with medical issues.

With these guaranteed visit lengths, you can be confident that every visit is a tail-wagging good time and that all your pet’s needs are met without paying for more than necessary.

If a pet has additional or unexpected needs during a visit, we always stay to ensure your home and pet are well cared for and that all needs are met. At BNBR, providing extra time during a visit when necessary has always been and will continue to be a complimentary aspect of our client care. We take pride in consistently going the extra mile for our clients.

We certainly do! Our team carries biodegradable poo bags and picks up the waste, disposing of it properly. Your yard and neighborhood are treated with the same care as our own. We never leave a mess, and we ensure our furry friends do not relieve themselves in your neighbor’s yards or gardens. Messes in your home are always cleaned up without any extra charge.

We are committed to this promise, ensuring you are fully informed about what your furry friend received during each visit.

You can book a walk for your dog at any time between 6:30 am and 10:00 pm. We ask for a 2 hour preferred time frame.

We ensure you have two dog walkers familiar with you and your pets for dog walking services. Your tail will always be covered, as services are not canceled if a dog walker has an emergency, illness, or unexpected event.

For our vacation pet sitting clients, we have found that having three pet sitters familiar with the pets is a bonus for the client. This helps accommodate more flexibility in booking and with last-minute service requests, especially during busy holidays and summer months! Our consultations (meet and greets) are always free and are a great way to get to know us better.

We certainly are! BNBR is a licensed, bonded, and fully insured company, covered by NEXT Insurance Co., and we can provide proof of insurance upon request. Our team goes the extra mile, conducting a thorough background check on ALL the pet care providers with us.
