I spent the evening Youtubing moments of my other favorite ships in the world, like Harry/Hermione, Pacey/Joey, Clark/Lana and all the other really cute couplings, and I realized that my OTP, Shawn and Juliet, are sorely lacking in really outright 'OMG-MELT' moments. Pacey and Joey have a bajillion, and so do Clark and Lana, and Spike and Buffy, and Angel and Cordelia, and dozens of other couples who have graced our televisions and our lives.

But my favorite couple in the world, detectives Shawn Spencer and Juliet O'Hara, have only an almost kiss (nicknamed the 'Close Talking' bit, from "Bounty Hunters") and a really intense kiss on the cheek (from "An Evening With Mr. Yang") to their name. These are the only examples, aside from the Almost Hand-Holding bit from "Talk Derby To Me", of physical manifestations of their being a ship. Granted, many other ships thrive on almost nothing but fan adoration, but I just want to make a case for why I really love this pairing (and this is something I spend endless hours talking to Mia, Jash, RP and others about).

I love my ship because they can make three seasons worth of moments exciting without even a single liplock (with each other, anyway). I love my ship because they complement each other so well. I love my ship because they have such a great foundation of friendship between them. I love my ship because they get each other, and they look out for each other. I love my ship because neither are perfect or flawless, and they both recognize that in each other. I love my ship because they have the right amount of humor and the right amount of angst in their (potential) relationship. And I love my ship because they're so realistic and funny and sweet and SUBTLE. OMJ. You really have to watch the show to get why this is such an amazing couple because every episode contributes to the growth of their relationship. ♥ I can't wait for more, when it comes to them. And this is why they're my OTP of all time. YAY SHULES. <3

So anyway, what's been happening. Life's been pretty busy :) But in a good way. I realize now just how much time having a boyfriend took away from you and your friends and your... many loves. Now I have oodles of time and I've spent it writing a ton. And going out with the people who love me unconditionally. ILU Batchies, Blockmates and Amigas!

And also! For the first time in a long time, I have an entry with the CRUSH tag. Because we were finally introduced and he's every bit as adorable as I thought he would be. <3 That's all.

I love this. I love Psych. I love James and Maggie and Dule and everyone. EVERYONE. This finale was so epic. Everything we all loved about the show--it was in it. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW.

Ausiello: This isn't scoop so much as it is a random tidbit from Super Bowl weekend: At NBC Universal's tailgate party, James Roday, Dule Hill, and Chris Meloni took on Burn Notice's Jeffrey Donovan, The O.C.'s Ben Mackenzie, and an unidentified executive's son in an impromptu game of pick-up touch football. Team Roday-Hill-Meloni prevailed by a score of 21-7. And because I know you'll ask, both teams kept their shirts on the entire game. "At one point shirts and skins were suggested," whispers my gridiron mole, "but it was too chilly."

SQUEEEEEEEE. Especially after the really awesome episode that was "Any Given Friday." ZOMG. I love my adorable little James Roday. I mean, Dule is awesome and all, but really. James Roday is just... GUH.

Anyway. Life. It's okay. I thought this week would be more stressful than it actually was. Thankfully :)

I miss my friends so bad. :( Where are you guys?

I have to say, I'm feeling pretty giddy and awesome right now. Why? WHY YOU ASK?

Because Life Is Amazing.

I'm listening to Queen songs (currently "Spread Your Wings"--LOVE) and I remember how much I love these guys. I sincerely do. Nothing affects me like Freddie's wonderful voice. I've finished listening to all the Beatles songs twice over (thanks to all-nighters/chats with the PFers) and all my Led Zeppelin songs. I'm aghast though. Where are my Kinks songs?? They're all gone, boo.

I got a US Visa today and I'm planning to go there hmmmm April-ish. Who's going to be in the San Diego area? I think that's where we'll be going. That means I get to hang with my cousins and my wonderful uncle. Twin, when I get my UK Visa, we're SO going togetherrrrr. But in the meantime, WHO'LL BE THERE? Because I want to SEE you, flisters.

Free cut today, and not much to do tomorrow. I can totally ransack Psychfic for NEW fics, finish readings Story 3 of the Fury series, and research *coughcough* for "Inflections."

Psych makes me so happy. Really. I've never been this happy about a show. I mean, I loved Buffy but it doesn't always make me... happy. LOL. Same goes for other shows. But I love everything about this show so much, it's going to get its own rave!post in a bit. But let that suffice for now. I love my Psych.

I like my layout but I might have to change it because it depresses me how I cannot see my moodtheme. :( Jimmy, baby!

But you know what I hate the most in this world?

My RL is a mysterious thing. I'll update when things look up.

It's the first OrSem I'll have no hand in. I guess times really do fly when you have fun :) College was the BEST TIME EVER for me, thanks in large part to the TNTs. I guess I just want to echo some things being said by lots of other people.

Good luck to all the new TNTs! I know some of you (some of my Blue Christmas babies!), but even if I don't, I'm glad you guys recognize how potent the TNT Magic is :) Do your best! Light the fire of Ateneo love in your freshies! Most of all... have fun :D It's a once in a lifetime opportunity, so make the most of it!

To all the non-new TNTs (yes, including Jehl :P), I'm so happy-proud of you all! I know you're going to give it your all. Congratulations to everyone.

To the TNT Core: I'm so proud to see all of you standing in front of the new batch of TNTs and garnering the respect and love of some of the best people you can ever get to know. For that alone, I don't think there are enough adjectives to describe how amazing you all are in your own way. I'm especially proud of my kid, Katlog! *huggies* I always knew you would do a great job.

To the TNT Head: You're my heart, and nothing will ever change that. Congratulations, baby. I love you. :)
