In Tasmania, our outreach takes many forms — from vibrant stalls and creative banner drops to stickering and letterboxing runs. Join us to help us spread the word about our campaigns in the wider community.
Engage in citizen science with BBF, assisting our science team and gathering real-time data from the field to defend our forests and wildlife with facts.
Our movement is rooted in connection. Help us run one of our many campaign events such as film screenings, community lectures or panel discussions or one of our other many events in Tasmania.
Volunteer at one of our inspiring events to protect Takayna, one of Earth’s last wild places. These events include our Art for Takayna artists’ residency and exhibition, our BioBlitz citizen science event, or the Takayna Trail ultramarathon.

You can grow your skills with our activist workshops. You can also join skill-shares, non-violent direct action trainings (NVDA), and climbing workshops — sharing knowledge and building the confidence to take action together.
