Christmas Skull Tin Ornaments

Sugar Skull Tin Ornaments For Day Of The Dead And Christmas

By BluKatDesign on Etsy

I love the festive colors of Dia de Los Muertos! This post should have been published last week for the celebration but I just discovered that the Word Press Editor has changed and was very difficult to figure out! After an hour of fussing with it, I finally can do the basics. Now, why didn’t they warn us, why did they make it so hard use, and why the change???

Making tin ornaments is super fun, I make these Day of the Dead ornaments out of tart tins, vintage cookie cutters, and mint tins like Altoids or Mr. Moxey’s.  I also use recycled greeting cards and papers and funky found objects like keys and dice.  Not only can these ornaments be used for Day of the Dead but they look great on a Christmas tree! They also make beautiful gifts for any skull lover! Please click on photos to take you to my Etsy store for details.

My daughter is a huge fan of the sugar skulls. She’d love this, and I’m going to show her the post. She’s creative, so I wouldn’t doubt if she did something similar on her own.
