Our Founder, Donna Galassi
Donna Galassi founded Blue Zenith Design + Strategy in February 2009, after over 15 years of experience as a software engineer. As the CEO and Marketing Director, Donna has transformed Blue Zenith into a family-operated business. Her son, Alex, has been instrumental in the company’s growth, working alongside her for the past decade. The addition of Allex Looper-Marrero has been invaluable to the continued expansion of the company.
Blue Zenith specializes in guiding small businesses through the dynamic landscape of marketing and SEO, ensuring clients achieve high findability and brand recognition. Their goal is to help businesses get found, get noticed and stand out from their competitors.
Outside of her professional life, Donna enjoys being outdoors engaging in activities like biking and hiking. She and her husband love to travel and share a passion for scuba diving. In 2019, Donna published a book for entrepreneurs “Reimagine Your Brand: How to Create Impact for Your Business”.
Lead Website Developer, Alex Galassi
Alex Galassi is Donna’s son and has been working with Blue Zenith since the fall of 2013, after graduating from CU Boulder that spring. In the beginning he worked part time, mainly doing blogging and simple website edits. Since then, his role has shifted to become the main website developer for Blue Zenith. He is experienced in working with WordPress and Kajabi. Alex’s other responsibilities include website maintenance, security, and updates.
Alex Galassi is the author of the Rebalancing the Cosmos series, a science-fiction and fantasy book series. When he is not at work or writing fiction, Alex enjoys exploring Colorado’s beautiful mountains, reading fantasy and science-fiction novels, attending concerts at Red Rocks, and playing Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and video games.
Digital Marketing Specialist, Allex Looper-Marrero
Allex has been working with Blue Zenith since the Summer of 2023, initially focusing mostly on social media strategy and content development. Her expertise has since expanded to now also include email marketing, blog writing, and website content creation. Her passion is helping small businesses discover and tell their unique story through compelling content and strategic storytelling.
When she’s not crafting digital narratives, Allex immerses herself in the humanities and arts – whether she’s diving into a good book, working on her own creative writing projects, or exploring various creative pursuits. She and her husband are huge fans of Marvel, Star Wars, and all other things wonderfully nerdy and can usually be found watching shows, movies, or playing video games within the fantasy or sci-fi genre.
