It's time to relax and lean into the world of craft beer! We offer a range from main stays to specialty brews. Known for our East Austin Specialty Sours and Bob's Fine Beers, we also offer wine, NA options, along with Bola Pizza, cheese boards, and more from our on-site kitchen.

Enjoy Happy Hour with $3 pints of Bob's Cold One and Cool & The Gang, every Wed-Fri from 3-6pm.

Located at the NW corner of Cesar Chavez and Pedernales, free parking is available on street or in The Holly Commons lot (free with validation) located on Cesar Chavez. Please be respectful of residents when parking in the neighborhood.

Literally such a welcoming environment. I love coming to town and make sure to visit Blue Owl every time. Every employee I have ever encountered has always been beyond friendly and made me feel comfortable and at home trying new things!

Do you like sour beer? If you answered yes then why aren't you here already? If you don't like sour beer, verify by trying the definition of it at Blue Owl Brewing because "The Owls are not what they seem." - yep, they're Lynch fans of the best show to make it to TV. BOB is your uncle and your favorite sour beer. Come in and select a size, get 4 samples in that glass, and when you finish - keep it! The glass is yours. Heavy rotation keeps its original and I love it. They have some staples for those trying to have a routine.

Absolutely tremendous sours, possible the best I've had in the country! Would highly recommend any of their sours ranging from iLimetastico! to Teeny Hopper. Picked up some cans to go as well on the way out, would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Austin and specifically around that area.

Great sour beers! You can't beat their deal where you pay $20 for 4 beers and you get to keep the glass. Honestly, you can't go wrong with any of the beers they have. I'd recommend the Little Boss or the Van Dayum.

My favorite brewery in Austin. They do a funny system where you "buy a glass" and then get four free pours of beer to taste what they have. They make all sour beers, and they're going to be some of the best sour beers you've ever had. Get the spirit animal to start with something classic, then try out their more experimental ones they have rotating to try something new. Oh and dogs are always welcome, so bring your pooch!

If you’re not a fan of sour beers, this brewery may help you change your mind. They always have different beers on tap with excellent flavors. I love the Tropical Brut and my boyfriend loves his Smash Smash. The people are awesome and the atmosphere is great. Definitely one of my favorite breweries.

I seriously can not give this place enough stars!!! Best place we've been to in a long time, and we are traveling the U.S.!!! All the beers were AMAZING and the way they present the beer in "flights" is awesome! Graphic designers are on point, swag is awesome! And the prices are unbeatable for any beer and unbelievable for kick-ass sours! OHHH and totally dog friendly inside and out! Even their bathrooms are stocked with hairspray, deodorant, mouthwash, tampons and even Mrs. Meyers hand soap!!!! Absolutely nothing bad to say about this place! Huge round of applause you guys!!!

Tasting Glass includes a Blue Owl logo souvenir glass to take home and up to two pours of any beer. Choose from the 8-ounce Austin ($15), 12-ounce Classic ($18), or 16-ounce Goblet ($20).
