To mark the occasion, the Montreal Holocaust Museum will be the venue for the launch of Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. Considered one of the most influential books of the last century, it has sold over 16 million copies and been translated into more than 50 languages. Based on Psychiatrist Viktor Frankl’s story of physical and spiritual survival during the Holocaust, this important work has helped generations of readers around the world cope with suffering. Most recently, it has been translated to the Uyghur language following request from Uyghur community leaders who found inspiration in Frankl’s words, Uyghur and other Turkic Muslim minorities in China being persecuted. The book launch of the Uyghur language translation of Man’s Search for Meaning will take place on Human Rights Day. TELL ME ABOUT HAPPINESS…
The “Tell Me About Happiness…” series explores, through literature and by appealing to a variety of literary sensibilities, a fundamental theme common to all human beings, beyond the colour of their skin, their origins, language, religion or beliefs: the quest for happiness.
Fifteen literary voices. Fifteen highly subjective visions of happiness.
