Ernest Appiah is a Senior Solutions Engineering Leader for the Americas Service Provider organization at Cisco, focused on Data Centers, Media, and Digital Networks (DMD). In this role, he leads high-performing technical teams responsible for architectural strategy and go-to-market alignment across leading service providers and media customers throughout the Americas. Ernest focuses on driving technical differentiation by working partners closely with customer stakeholders, Cisco engineering, and ecosystem partners to simplify complex environments, accelerate digital transformation, and enable new business capabilities leveraging Cisco’s portfolio of solutions. He has been with Cisco for 15 years, beginning his career supporting global data center operations within Cisco IT. His career spans infrastructure engineering, customer experience delivery, and pre-sales leadership. He has led multidisciplinary teams across enterprise, public sector, and service provider sales segments. Ernest is a graduate of San Jose State University in San Jose, California, and currently resides in North Carolina.
