BlockQuest

BlockQuest is a dungeon crawler with a blocky aesthetic where you have to delve deep into dungeons to loot treasures and kill monsters. All that with a light touch of puzzle thrown into the mix.

The levels in the game are quite short, and you can normally beat them in less than a minute. In that time, you have to try to find the way out of the dungeon, which is normally behind a door closed with a key, which is in turn on the other side of lots of monsters, who are themselves on the other side of lots of traps.

The controls are very intuitive in BlockQuest: slide your finger in the direction you want your hero to turn, and tap the screen to make him move. As in any decent roguelike, you attack when you move in the direction of an enemy. You can also deploy any object in your inventory by tapping on it.

At the beginning of the game you only have one hero, but as you finish parts of the dungeon you can unlock more characters. There are lots of heroes, animals, and monsters, all shaped like cubes with fun graphics.

BlockQuest is a simple and fun RPG that's been perfectly designed for touchscreens. The controls are really easy to use, and its minute-long dungeons are perfect to play at any time.
