Character Perception:
Blaine is a very confident gay teen. Even though he has had his struggles with questioning his sexuality, thinking he might possibly be bisexual, he came through it realizing that he's gay and proud of the fact. He's outgoing, friendly, loves to sing and certainly doesn't mind being the center of attention. He loves football and musical theatre. He's hopeless romantic at heart, he's been hurt a few times, but is also admittedly terrible at romance and relationships. That's not say he doesn't try, it just isn't quite his forte. He's never had a boyfriend, doesn't really know what he's doing, but he knows how to fake it. He has a lot of acquaintances within and outside of Dalton, but has very few good close friends.
He's always trying to do his best, and be the best in certain aspects of his life in attempt to please his parents. He knows that his dad doesn't really like the fact that he's gay, he knew that before his dad had him rebuild a car with him. It wasn't going to change him from being who he was though. He embraced it, even though he was driven away from his old school by taunting from others. Dalton was a great safe place for him to go to, but it sheltered him a bit too much possibly from the way that people reacted to others being gay and the endless taunting and bullying that could go on. He's just a normal teen, even though he does try to act older than his years, due to the way he was brought up. Though he certainly has some of the same insecurities and faults as other teens normally do.
Timeline: Up through 2x16 “Original Songs”
Ticket: You are formally invited to perform for a special group of Warbler Alumni this weekend. We would greatly appreciate your presence here.
Inventory: A bag with several changes of clothes, phone, ipod and laptop.
Additional Notes: I ship Kurt/Blaine, but I'm up for different things as well. Though my Blaine is definitely gay.
Role Play Sample:
Blaine thought that it was slightly odd that a helicopter had been sent to take him to his final destination. Wouldn't a car have been easier? Not that it was kind of cool to be arriving via helicopter, it just wasn't expected.
Communication with the pilot didn't go over very well. He didn't have any clue as to where exactly he was going and the only other person he could talk to wasn't shining any light on that. So, he just sat back and tried to enjoy the ride, wishing he had someone else here he could talk to. Kurt, was the one that was mainly on his mind. He had to pack and leave so quickly that he didn't have time to tell the other boy that he'd be gone for a few days. He'd tried texting him while en route to where he would be performing, but his phone didn't seem to be getting any signal.
Once the helicopter touched down, he took a look outside and saw a brilliant castle. They really went all out for this thing. Well, considering it was a bunch of old Warblers, he wasn't surprised. He was sure most of them were well off now.
He took his bag and everything with him, making his way towards the castle, hoping there would be someone there to greet him soon. After all, he had been invited here as a guest to perform for them. Surely there should be someone around that knew he had arrived.
