Coronavirus update As our focus shifts to a post-pandemic world, #Element is coming from a good starting point. We have great people and aligned teams which means that we have the opportunity to outperform regardless of headwinds in any particular market. In terms of the difference our people continue to make to our customers and the lives of others, there are too many examples to talk about here but I will try! US #Energy colleagues have been conducting live remote witnessing sessions in Houston, adding to the critical support we’re already providing to clients in our #PQT and #Fire sectors. Our Santa Fe Springs laboratory continues to provide testing for a customer working on a drug to combat acute renal injury in COVID-19 patients put on ventilators. In Canada, #Environmental colleagues in Edmonton arranged the loan of specialized equipment to the Alberta Health Service, subsequently supporting over 170,000 tests on COVID-19. In Abu Dhabi, colleagues provided great support to several hundred local workers under total lockdown, helping to refurbish quarantine buildings before occupation and then raising funds to enable regular food to be provided – all amazing efforts!
