Our Vision:

Values: What We Believe
- The outcome is the most important part of the journey. Following guiding principles that keep the goal in focus and filtering out the “noise” keeps projects on track to deliver value.
- A project should only be pursued if it’s supported by a well-reasoned business case.
- Transparency from all parties is essential to be effective. We work in a way that makes it safe for everyone to understand and tell the truth. When we say we can do something, we make it easy to see how.
- People are the most important part of our business. We value long-term relationships with employees and with clients. We have spent over three decades cultivating trust.
- Coming to grips with the complexities of data is hard. Being willing to have fun while getting things done makes the process more enjoyable and sustainable.
- Elegance and simplicity are valuable principles in the production of creative, efficient, and sincere work.
Our Story
A Strong Foundation
From our beginning in 1986, one mantra has guided every major decision:
“Tackle the hardest projects that deliver the most valuable, substantial, and measurable business impact.”
That philosophy pushed us to grow — adding software development alongside our established technology solutions.
When legacy document capture tools couldn’t keep up, we faced a decision — continue patching old technology, or start fresh. So in 2015, we chose to build something better and created a platform that matched our ambitions and our clients’ needs.
At the same time, we continued to expand our long‑standing strengths in:
- Enterprise hardware
- Data center infrastructure
- IT modernization
This relentless focus lead to recognition such as Dell Titanium Partner status in 2026 and numerous industry awards over the decades for excellence in hardware and software solutions.
How We Engineer Our Solutions
Grooper’s development has always followed two core principles:
- No Outside Funding: Our direction comes from decades of experience, not investor influence.
- 100% Internal Development: Every line of code is built in‑house, giving us full control, agility, and quality assurance.
This approach allows us to continually evolve Grooper with the same rigor we bring to every part of our business — whether building advanced IT infrastructure, designing data workflows, or powering large‑scale conversions through our in-house Data Migration Center, where millions of physical records are processed securely each year.
The Most Important Ingredient: Our People
Our team is the foundation of our success. With an employee retention rate over 98% and an average tenure of nine years, BIS is built on long‑term relationships, deep expertise, and a genuine enjoyment for the work we do.
Based in Oklahoma City — at the center of the Silicon Prairie — we’re just a short flight away and always ready to welcome clients into our offices, data migration facility, and innovation spaces.
The Key to Our Success
We owe our journey to the thousands of clients and partners who have trusted us with their toughest challenges. Together, we’ve taken on projects that demanded bold thinking and precise execution — often achieving outcomes that once seemed impossible.
Our commitment remains unchanged:
Solve the hardest problems that deliver the greatest outcomes, whether that means helping customers modernize their IT environments, digitize and secure critical records, or accelerate the flow of data that powers their business.
