BirgerMind® became the winner on the Latvian national finals of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) that took place on April 3rd, where five Latvian start-ups competed for the opportunity to get into the global finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to battle for a total prize pool of USD 1 million.

BirgerMind® is a promising finalist for the Latvian national competition for opportunity to join Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC) in Saudi Arabia. The winner of the Latvian national finals will then compete for the chance to be among the top 100 companies from around the globe having a ticket to the global finals in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and the prize pool of 1 million US dollars, as well as additional investment opportunities and support for global growth.

In January and February 2024, the BirgerMind team, together with representatives of the SKALE2CT project and the Ministry of Economy, went to France to participate in Tech&Fest exhibition and an experience exchange visit to LETI clean room organized by project partners in Grenoble, where the main focus was on the development of medical technology start-ups.

BirgerMind® attended TechChill Milano, the Baltic-born startup conference taking place in Milan, Italy on September 25-27. Participants are invited to meet the startups at the “Latvia’s startup frontiers meet Italy” side-event powered by the Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA).

BirgerMind® team is honoured to be the only team from Latvia selected for the Grand finals of the EIT Health InnoStars Awards 2023 competition and included in the list of Top 10 companies among 107 EU SME competitors.

18 health startups, selected among 107 European competitors, participated in training, capacity building and mentoring sessions. Topics such as marketing, regulation, funding and intellectual property were addressed throughout the bootcamp.
