Well! This month was certainly enlightening. Although I am disappointed that none of you blurted out your preferences for a Christmas gift, that doesn't make holiday shopping very easy.

I wonder...if nobody else bids on a student that you bid on, would that make them a cheap date?

If I were to offer commissions on, say, custom knitted things like scarves or hats...and I charged about five sickles per product, would anybody be interested?

Things haven't been too nice lately, have they? Mum and Dad have been constantly asking me about who Lord Voldemort is but it's a little awkward to just tell them "hi Mum, hi Dad, this person I've never met hates me and others like me for being born and wants to rule the world. So what's for supper?"

...I'm just glad Mum can't bring a gun into the house. Don't want her getting trigger-happy. It's never been very easy being a police officer's daughter, you know?
