Peace and serenity as you hear the waves crash along the shore

Warmth and bliss as you feel the sand crinkling through your toes

Brightness from above as you look up at the sun and it stares right back

Temptation luring you in as you watch a group of six-packs run into the ocean on surfboards

A grumbling stomach as waiters pass you to take other beach-goers their meals

Satisfaction as you sip your cocktail and admire your pedicure

Burning sensations cover your skin as you realize you slept for a tad too long under the blistering, hot sun

Frustration as young children run by and get sand in your face

Relief as you see their mother pack up their belongings and take them home

Fulfillment when you take a large breath and enjoy the last few moments of sunlight

Perfection at it’s best as the sun slowly sets and hangs right where the sky meets the blue, open ocean
