BIFA Bitesize is our suite of eLearning courses that launched in February 2025. Covering a range of industry topics from our popular freight forwarding and customs courses, these modules give BIFA member employees access to around-the-clock learning.
Access to BIFA Bitesize is available to all Full Trading Members of BIFA only, as part of their membership subscription. There are no limits on the number of learners per member company.
BIFA Bitesize modules are also available to purchase by BIFA Associate members, non-members and traders. Further information can be found here.

Working with our Policy & Compliance team for Customs, we have introduced a series of CDS Compliance modules. This first part is based around an import home use, declaration. The first part will become mandatory and must be undertaken before any of the remaining optional modules.

- CDS Compliance (Outward Processing)
- CDS Compliance (Inward Processing)
- CDS Compliance (Temporary Admission)

NOTE: These courses are intended only for those who have completed the CDS Compliance (Import Home Use) course, as they focus solely on explaining the compliance differences.
How to access:
As this training is funded through your BIFA Trading Membership, it will be accessed via our Member portal.
- If you have not previously activated your account, please use the ‘password reset’ function to access your account. If you have any issues, please get in touch with us and we will help you register you for an account.
Once you have logged into the portal, follow the below instructions to access the full suite of modules available:
- In the Member Portal Dashboard, click on the menu option for BIFA eLearning
You will then be redirected to our BIFA Bitesize screen - Click on ‘Optional Learning’
- Click on ‘Browse Library’
- Once you have chosen a module, click the ‘assign’ button
- Your chosen course will then move to the ‘My Content’ tab
- Click ‘view’ on the course you wish to start
- You can then begin the course by clicking ‘launch’
