Your personal data and privacy are hugely important to us. This policy is not just a legal shield to make us comply with regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (further: GDPR)*. It tells which personal data we process and how we treat and protect it with care.
With this policy, we want to inform you fully about our data policy. This will allow you to make a thoughtful and informed decision about whether to use our services. We assume that when you use our services, you agree with the way we process data and our policy.
Oh, and one more thing. We have done our best to keep this policy as concise and clear as possible. After all, we are convinced that commitments do not have to be boring.
*Regulation of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

The GDPR also designates us as a data controller. This means, in short, that we decide what data is collected, how and by what means it will be collected, but also why we are doing it.
When you fill in the contact form, we store the following data: name, e-mail address, IP address and of course your message.
Depending on the type of processing, we collect your personal data on the basis of one of the following legal grounds:
- Consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR): when you explicitly agree, e.g. by filling in a contact form.
- Performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR): when processing is necessary for the execution of a contract.
- Legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR): when processing is required by law, e.g. for bookkeeping.
- Legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR): when we have a legitimate interest that outweighs your privacy interests.
We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
- Contact form data: maximum 2 years after your last contact with us.
- Accounting data: 7 years in accordance with legal obligations.
- Other data: until your request for deletion, unless a legal retention obligation applies.
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you.
Processors, a telling GDPR term. Who helps us, under our responsibility, to process your personal data? Rest assured, all our processors have agreed to the GDPR and our policy. We work with, among others:
- Combell as our hosting partner, they are fully GDPR compliant. You can always check out their privacy policy.
In addition to our hosting provider, we use some plugins that sometimes also process data. Rest assured, we only use plugins that explicitly comply with the GDPR.
Some of our service providers (such as Google via reCAPTCHA) are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA). When transferring data to countries outside the EEA, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
If you are not satisfied with the way we process your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (GBA/APD):
