I need to write a real post, but I have to go get sparkly, so I leave you with Neil Gaiman, who is way smarter and more eloquent than me anyway.

I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You're doing things you've never done before, and more importantly, you're Doing Something. So that's my wish for you, and all of us, and my wish for myself. Make New Mistakes. Make glorious, amazing mistakes. Make mistakes nobody's ever made before. Don't freeze, don't stop, don't worry that it isn't good enough, or it isn't perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life.

Whatever it is you're scared of doing, Do it.

Came home to take a shower, only to discover that my drain backed up, and brought with it about half an inch of sand.

So no shower for me, and also HAHAHAHA ROOMMATE WHOSE TURN IT IS TO CLEAN THE TUB.

Also, oh my effing god you guys. Who else has seen the season premier of Bones? I've now seen it three times. And every time I spend the whole 45 minutes going OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH MY GOD OMG OMG BABY.

Nano is kicking my ass, and not in the sexy way.

Happy Halloween everyone! I was a dragon/ballerina, and my roommate was Ginger Spice, and because we live in a creepy basement apartment there were no trick-or-treaters, but that just means more candy for us! Mwa ha ha.

Long time no post! ... Again. I know, I suck. It's constantly shocking to me how exhausted doing nothing at a job I dislike makes me-- I usually get home from work and COLLAPSE in a heap of despair. And then read some Remus/Sirius.

That's right, folks- I don't know how it happened, but I am WAY back into R/S right now, which will probably give way really fast to some good ol' H/D. Which is part of the reason for this post! My request is this- dust off your old bookmarks and send me your FAVORITE HP FANFIC, which is not The Shoebox Project or The Complete Works of Maya (because while these are obviously THE CREAM OF THE CROP I already have them downloaded. And can possibly recite some parts by memory. Okay ALL THE PARTS what I never said I had a life.)

One of the side effects of being WAY INTO R/S LIKE WOAH is that I am woefully behind in ALL TV. Even SPN. I don't even know who I am anymore! Someone save me from myself. I have been watching Castle with my mom, though, which is fun. I just want to pinch them all on their ickle cheeks.

In other news, I'm now on twitter! I think I had one before at some point, but I couldn't remember what my name was, or my password, or what email I used. Clearly, I was not that into it. BUT NOW ALL HAS CHANGED, because I spend all day at a job I hate avoiding doing actual, you know, work. So twitter! And you should all follow me, or at least tell me how I can follow you.
