The name “Kellanova” signals our ambition for the future, building on the strong brand equity and legacy built over the previous 117 years as Kellogg Company. Like Kellogg Company, Kellanova believes that a key to running a good business is doing good for our communities, planet and people. Kellanova is proud to continue the Better Days Promise™ social and environmental purpose strategy set forth by Kellogg Company, while increasing our ambitions with expanded commitments.
Kellanova Better Days™ Promise is our commitment to advance sustainable and equitable access to food by actively addressing the intersection of wellbeing, hunger, sustainability and equity, diversity and inclusion (ED&I). In doing so, we are committed to increasing our commitment to create better days from 3 billion people to 4 billion people by the end of 2030.
By delivering on our promise, we envision:
We’re committed to:
Kellanova commits to reach net-zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across the value chain by 2050. * The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has verified Kellanova’s net-zero science-based target by 2050. The SBTi is a corporate climate action organization that enables companies and financial institutions worldwide to play their part in combating the climate crisis.
Kellanova will report on 2024 progress against these commitments in our initial Social and Environmental Report, which will be issued in 2025.
*GHG emissions are measured and aligned to the guidance outlined in the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and Kellanova Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG emissions and energy consumption are independently verified by Apex Companies LLC. Learn more on our Policies and Guidelines page.
