Rediscovery

I'm not entirely sure who I am. As my journal title states, I'm in a state of rediscovery. I'm attempting to break off the bad parts of myself that I don't like and discover where my own happiness lies.
I enjoy gaming (Table top RPGs and a few video/computer games). I'm a vintage enthusiast. I love the style and mentality of the bygone eras. I'm a little crazy, a lot forgetful. I love to sew. I own 3 sewing machines. A 1903 Singer, a 1957 Singer, and a 1980's Simplicity.
I am a semi-computer geek. I say that because I'm way more of a geek than your average person, but the knowledge of many (errr, most?) of my friends puts me to shame. ;)
I'm not always good at the friendship thing. I sometimes say or do stupid/insensitive things. Many times I don't even realize it. And if I do realize it, I have a hard time saying 'I'm sorry'. I have this overwhelming fear that the person I'm apologizing to will laugh in my face (or worse, go and laugh about it with all their friends). I can't explain it, but it's a difficult thing for me to overcome.
I used to watch too much TV, but thanks to the writer's strike, I've discovered the world outside of my television.
I don't read as much as I'd like sometimes, but I'm rather happy with my reading levels at the same time, so long as what occupies my time makes me happy.

Then there are my cat-children. No real children, just cats who are pampered, spoiled, and loved like one ;)

I'm now a Price Book Coordinator for Circle K. I've been with the company for over 6 years, started out as a graveyard clerk and now here I am. Cubicle monkey. wow.
