I've been a big Pokemon player since the very first generation--my first "console" was a teal Game Boy Color, my first game was Blue. But sometimes I don't like the whole "collect them all" aspect of things. I like to hone the strengths of a few standout Pokemon more than anything else, if that makes sense. I mean, I'll try to fill in the Pokedex as much as possible, but I tend to focus on a 'dream team' of only a few. So in that case, I'd probably be better off being friends with a gym leader.

As someone who tended to choose the fire starter Pokemon (except in White when I chose Oshawott instead), and someone who can appreciate an awesome hairdo, I think Flannery (Lavaridge Gym leader from Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald) would make a cool friend:

Before the league put NHL 36: Patrice Bergeron on Youtube, I really wanted to take some photos of the beauty in it, so I aimed my camera at the TV and did it that way. I wish to share the fruits of my labor. Some of them are not perfect, angle- or context-wise, but you can still get the point of it through my effort. Plus there's commentary. Good question! I'm not really sure yet, but $50 would do nicely at helping me check off some of the stuff on my Amazon wishlist :)
(BUT EMMA! Birthday-person! What's ON your wishlist? Good question. Lots of Bruins stuff and TV on DVD, mostly. Predictable, sure.)
