i'm having the most hideous work day today - several projects due all at once, lots of horrible coding issues* that make me want to punch the computer screen, and general wintery moodiness. to cheer myself up i thought i'd listen to one of the latest batch of beeCDs.
whoever made 'music with the bark still on it' - I LOVE YOU! it's been perfect, so perfect that i've just listened to it three times in a row. lots of songs i didn't know, a few songs i did, and apparently some beeCD archive material. if that means stuff from beeCDs taht you liked, i'm giving myself a slap on the back as one of my songs is on there. there's also my favourite ever song from any beeCD i've ever had, so extra bonus points for our excellent matching taste.
so, er, yes. thank you thank you thank you!

Unfortunately there's gonna be a little delay we me sorting out the bee cd exchange - as some of you might know, I got my wallet, phone, keys etc. nicked at bestival, and I've been spending time sorting those things out rather than beecd. Appologies, and I'll deffinately get my arse into gear to sort out the exchange by next weekend.
On the plus side, if anyone hasn't yet got their cds to me, you ave a little leeway, just give me a shout to expect them, because I'm not gonna check the PO box again, unless people let me know I have to ;)

As it's the last BeeCD, and some of the themes have given me some brilliant if impractical ideas, I have spent the day stalking a long deleted album which may be at my parents, but I seem to remember that I threw it away in a fit of embarrassment. The artist was/is so prolific that barely any of their work has been digitised. A copy has come up on ebay for 99p - but what I want to know is there any London BeeCDer who has vinyl to MP3 capabilities who would let me come round and transfer it in stealth (with the LP in a paper bag of course).
Otherwise, I do have a record player, a macbook, a PC and various cables - I suppose I could just check on the internet the best way of doing this...or you could tell me from experience...anything would help.

I've tried to take a little bit of variety, take a little of everyone's sugestions and whatnot. For the record I've chosen themes which allowed the compiler a little range in their choice (i.e. "a favourite songs from the 1990s", is a much better theme than "your favourite song from the 1900s"). So without further ado, the themes for the final Bee CD are:

As with the other Bee CDs, the deadline will be 5 weeks after the themes come out, and I make that the 11th of September. It would be good if we could give Bee CD the sond off it deserves.
