We are currently on annual leave and will return on Tuesday, 14th April. During this time, we will be monitoring the system for urgent technical emergencies only. All other requests will be handled in the order they were received once we return.

The website editing service is available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
This is a PAYG service – website edit rates available to view via following tab.
All tickets are handled in the order they are received during our dedicated service days, with tickets from Legacy Premium and Enterprise Care clients are given priority in the queue.

Complete the form with full detail of your request, and either:

Upload files (e.g., WORD doc, jpeg images) – hold the shift key to upload multiple files
Upload files into your Google Drive folder and provide the link below

If you have a genuinely urgent request, please mark it as such on the form. This will be given high priority.
We will email you with any additional questions, and when the work is completed.

PAYG Website edit rates

We encourage our clients to self-edit their websites using Elementor Pro. For changes you’d prefer not to make yourself, we offer a limited, professional update service.

Service Hours:
This service is available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, excluding holidays (which will be advertised in advance). Tickets submitted outside these hours will be addressed on the next available business day.

How to Request Changes:
To ensure clarity and efficiency, please submit all change requests as a single support ticket. Bundle all your updates into one clear, detailed description rather than sending multiple separate messages.

Pricing & Billing:

Minimum Charge: All website edits are subject to a minimum charge of 15 minutes.
Billing Increments: Work is tracked and billed in 15-minute intervals.
Standard Rate: Our standard rate for changes is £20 + VAT per half hour.
Invoicing: All time spent on changes during a calendar month is tallied and invoiced at the end of that month, payable via BACS.

Hosting Client Discounts:

Website Care Package Clients: Receive a 10% discount on editing time.
Legacy Premium Clients: Receive a 20% discount, plus 30 mins included monthly support time applied first.

Website Legal Requirements

As the website owner, you are legally responsible for ensuring your site complies with UK law. We will set up the foundational elements, but you must verify and maintain their accuracy.

Required Business Information – If your website represents a registered business (like a Limited Company or LLP), you must display the following information on your site:

Registered business name and number.
Registered office address.
Place of registration (e.g., England & Wales).
Contact details, including an email and a non-electronic method of contact (e.g., a postal address).
If you sell online, your geographical business address.
Your VAT number, if registered.

Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR) & ICO Registration

We will install a basic privacy policy template that explains how your site handles user data. You are responsible for reviewing this policy and ensuring it accurately reflects your specific data collection and usage practices. If updates are needed, you can edit it yourself or contact us for assistance.

ICO Registration:

If your website collects any personal data (e.g., through contact forms, orders, or cookies), you likely need to register with the ICO and pay a data protection fee. It is your responsibility to check this using the ICO’s self-assessment tool and to register if required.

Cookie Policy

We will install a cookie policy that complies with ICO guidelines. By default, this will include your hometown and country for contact purposes. If you prefer to display only your country or your full business address, please let us know.

For E-Commerce Websites

If you sell online, you have additional legal obligations. You must clearly display your terms of sale, including:

Delivery costs and timescales.
Returns, refunds, and cancellation policy.
Complaint handling procedure.
Pricing, including all taxes.
Customers’ rights to cancel and return goods.

Cost: £60 plus VAT – for a 1:1 one hour session (10% discount applies for website care clients, 20% discount applies for premium website care customers)

Where: At Bear Left Studio in-person or a face-to-face discussion over Google Meet video conferencing which will allow me to share our screens and demonstrate in real-time.
