BeachHacks is CSULB’s largest annual 24-hour hackathon, bringing together students from around the world to design and develop innovative projects as part of this year’s BeachHacks 9.0.

Requirements

  • Title of Project (under ‘Project overview’ )

  • Table Number (Mandatory)

    • Details for table number ensuring table numbers don't coincide with others.
  • Elevator pitch

    • What's your idea? This will be a short tagline for the project
  • Built with ( TECH STACK )

    • Provide a detailed overview of the technologies, frameworks, tools, and platforms used to design and implement the project. Invite your team (if you're in a team)
  • Thumbnail image

    • JPG, PNG or GIF format, 5 MB max file size. For best results, use a 3:2 ratio.
  • About the project

    • Be sure to write what inspired you, what you learned, how you built your project, and the challenges you faced. In About the Project:
    • Track Category

    • What it does
    • How we built it
    • Challenges we ran into
    • Accomplishments that we’re proud of
    • What we learned
  • Video Demo of Project Features & Functionality 

    • Participants must submit a 2-minute project demonstration, uploaded to YouTube.
  • Link to Source Code ( MANDATORY ) 

    • Include a public Git Repositoy Link (mandatory) to allow judges to review code quality, structure, and development process. Have your team member full names and the README file
    • Live Deployment( optional )
      • Provide a functional deployment link where judges can access and test the working project.
