Dates
Hacking starts at 10:20am on Saturday, June 8th. All participants must submit their projects by 12:00pm on Sunday, June 9th. Qualification round judging starts at 1:00pm on Sunday, June 9th.
Eligibility
The hackathon is open to any student aged 14 or older from high schools, community colleges, or universities. To participate, please register on Devpost.
Students are required to form teams with 3-4 members. Collaboration is key! If you're looking for team members, our staff is ready to help you connect with others.
Prizes
The top 3 team winners will be given prizes with a maximum of $50 value per person. Each team member have to choose different prizes unless we have extras. To be eligible for prizes, participants must:
- Register for the hackathon on Devpost.
- Submit their projects on Devpost by the deadline, which is 12:00pm on Sunday, June 9th.
Code of Conduct
Do not abuse, attack, or harass others. All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, infringing, or illegal materials are strictly prohibited. If such content is posted (publicly or privately), it will be removed, and the poster will be permanently banned from the workspace. Instances of abusive, harassing, or otherwise unacceptable behavior may be reported by contacting the workspace administrators. All complaints will be reviewed and investigated, resulting in a response deemed necessary and appropriate to the circumstances. The admin team is obligated to maintain confidentiality regarding the reporter of an incident. Examples of behavior that contributes to creating a positive environment include:
- Using welcoming and inclusive language
- Being respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences
- Gracefully accepting constructive criticism
- Focusing on what is best for the community
- Showing empathy towards other community members
- Examples of unacceptable behavior by participants include:
- The use of sexualized language or imagery and unwelcome sexual attention or advances
- Trolling, insulting/derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks · Public or private harassment
- Publishing others’ private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission
- Other conduct that could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting
