Settings

You will find the Settings on your WordPress admin area navigating to the BBForms menu -> Settings.

You will find three tabs: Settings, Submissions and Messages.

On Settings tab you will find the box General Settings.

General Settings

General Settings has the common configuration for plugin management and it has the next settings:

Minimum Access Role: Set the minimum role a user needs to access BBForms management areas.

Editor Theme: Set the BBForms editor theme. By default is set to dark to reduce eye strain.

Disable Top Bar: Checking this option will disable the BBForms top bar menu.

On Submissions tab you will find the box Automatic Submissions Cleanup.

Automatic Submissions Cleanup

Allows automatically deleting old submissions.

Submissions Auto-Cleanup: Enables automatic deletion of old submissions.

Days Keeping Submissions: The number of days you want to retain submission data. Submissions older than the specified number of days will be automatically removed.

On Messages tab you will find two boxes: Form Messages and Fields Error Messages.

Form Messages

Form Messages has the options to customize the messages displayed on your forms.

Fields Error Messages

Error Messages has the options to customize the alerts shown when users interact incorrectly with the form.
