What to expect from our managed services
How do Managed Cloud and Managed Platforms differ?
Managed Cloud covers the operation of your cloud environment (infrastructure, security, performance and cost). Managed Platforms covers the platforms running on that environment (runtime, data and integration platforms, shared services and tooling) that support delivery and operations.
Do you support AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud?
Yes. As with technology, BBD is cloud agnostic, meaning that we leverage the right cloud, or hybrid setup that works for your requirements, budget and existing infrastructure.
Will we lose visibility or control of our environment?
No. Our managed services are designed to increase visibility and control, not reduce it. e provide dashboards, operational reporting and clear governance, so you can track platform health, spend and changes at all times. We operate transparently as an extension of your team, with agreed controls and decision-making around what changes when.
Can you take over an existing platform or only greenfield?
Both. We can take over and support existing platforms, or partner with you on greenfield builds. In fact, much of our managed support work starts with platforms already in production. We’ll assess your current environment, stabilise what’s in place, and then improve reliability, performance and maintainability over time, reducing operational overhead without disrupting day-to-day delivery.
How do you handle security and compliance?
Security and compliance are built into our operating model. We define shared responsibility upfront, then apply governance, policy enforcement and secure operational practices across your cloud estate. This includes continuous monitoring, backup and recovery readiness, and alignment with GDPR / POPIA / ISO and your internal compliance requirements.
