Operating inside one of the world’s biggest media businesses, we specialise in apprenticeships across content, media, data and leadership.
Unique industry-based background
Delivering apprenticeships from inside the industry allows us to provide impactful programmes to develop entry level talent and upskill and reskill people at all career stages.
We work with over 100 employers, including the BBC, Channel 4, Wickes and Campions Group to co-create bespoke and flexible apprenticeships that meet the needs of their business, people, and culture.
With key learning centres in London, Peterborough, and Manchester, we offer open programmes, with start dates across the year, and closed groups for employers with 12 or more learners.
Our Apprenticeship programmes can be fully funded by the Apprenticeship Levy.

Innovative curriculum
Described by Ofsted as being an “Outstanding Apprenticeship Provider” and having “established a creative and innovative curriculum”, all our apprenticeship programmes are dedicated to the development of high-quality skills, with effective learner support services and safeguarding provision.
Thriving learning communities
We offer multiple opportunities for learners to connect and collaborate – both via our apprenticeships and through our enrichment programme called Accelerator.
Aligned to Bauer Academy’s Learner Attributes, Accelerator provides rich resources and impactful development sessions. Outside the apprenticeship curriculum, Accelerator provides the space, support, and tools for learners to take their career to the next level.
The cornerstone of Accelerator is its interactive online workshops, designed to cultivate essential personal and professional skills. Also open to all learners is the Accelerator Portal, which features a variety of resources on emotional intelligence, confidence, as well as career insights and guidance.
Individuals looking for apprenticeships
Bauer Academy do not directly employ apprentices.
We work in partnership with external employers to provide training to their people, whether they’re new starts or as an upskill piece.
