Basketball Wales is responsible for the governance and development of one of Wales’ most popular participation sports.
The association, driven by a passionate and dedicated community of volunteers, has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to nurturing basketball talent and fostering grassroots participation in Wales.
Basketball Wales currently delivers a broad range of events and activities each year, thanks to the hard work and dedication of volunteers across Wales. Recent successes have included the development of Jr.NBA, the expansion of our schools tournaments and the continued growth of our 3×3 tournaments. We have successfully introduced and expanded the Basketball Wales National League and developed our national team programme, including the reintroduction of our senior women’s team and establishment of a new junior performance structure.
