Chamber Pass Program | Pre-verification checklist

Do this BEFORE starting the Chamber Pass Program Process

Do not pass GO. Do not collect a ski pass discount until you complete the pre-verification checklist!

For the fastest processing – please complete the following steps BEFORE contacting the chamber or completing the opt-in registration form:

☐ The business/nonprofit is a current member of the Basalt Chamber of Commerce.

    • Never been a member? Join now. If the business is not yet a member, an online application must be completed first. Join here. Applications require two to three business days to process.
    • Been a member within the last year? Membership is automatically renewed annually, so if the business was a member last year, it will simply need renew its membership by paying the annual membership invoice (more below). There is no need reapply.
    • Previously a member (over a year ago)? It is easy to rejoin! If the business was previously a member it will need to rejoin. To start the process, contact the Chamber via email or call (970) 927-4031 with the business name and total number of Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) employees to reactivate the original account. A new application should not be filled out, as this creates duplicate accounts. Reactivating an existing account is significantly faster.

☐ All outstanding invoices, including membership dues, have been paid and the member account has a $0 balance.

Eligibility verification will not be processed until the member account is brought into good standing, meaning all outstanding invoices—including annual membership investments and dues—have a $0 balance. Online payment is available and both credit card and ACH options are available. Members can also sign up for autopay. For data security reasons, the Chamber cannot accept credit card payments over the phone.

  • Locating Recent Invoices: Billing contacts can search email records for the subject line: “Annual Membership Investment Invoice | Basalt Chamber of Commerce”. The email contains a PDF copy of the invoice and a direct link to pay online – click the View/Pay Online button. If you have an existing Member portal login, it will automatically redirect to the Make A Payment page.
  • Checking Balance in the Member Portal: Log into the Member Portal (https://business.basaltchamber.org/login/) to view the account status. If an outstanding invoice exists, the total will display under the “Account Balance” section alongside a payment button.

Representatives logged into the Member Portal will find the 2026-27 Chamber Pass Program Opt-In Registration link displayed directly below any outstanding account balances. This allows the representative to clear remaining invoices and complete the registration in a single session.

**If you have questions about an invoice, please email or call us. Don’t forget to include the business name if you leave a voicemail!**

☐ Business information is current and correct in the chamber’s database.

For best results, the company profile, contact details, and employee records in the Chamber database should be fully accurate and up to date before opting into the Chamber Pass Program.

  • Portal Access: Updates can be made directly through the Member Portal. Representatives can request a password reset (Forgot username/password?) or follow the standard registration steps if an account login has not yet been created. Create one now.

  • Support: For any portal login difficulties, contact the Chamber staff at (970) 927-4031 for assistance.

☐ Appoint the designated Chamber Season Pass representative to handle this process.

Each business/organization must designate a single Chamber Pass Program representative to be the point of contact for the entire three-step process. The designated representative is the only person to act on behalf of their organization, working with the Basalt Chamber and ASC. This individual is typically a business owner, executive manager, or a key leader within the HR or Accounting departments.

Responsibilities: This representative is solely responsible for completing the Chamber opt-in form, managing the bStore purchase portal, executing corporate payment, and handling internal pass distribution and record-keeping. To maintain program efficiency, the Basalt Chamber and Aspen Skiing Company will communicate exclusively with this designated individual, not with individual staff members.

The entire Chamber Pass Program process will be delayed if the above items have not been addressed prior to the member opt-in registration.
