Greg Broderick

Greg Broderick is an Olympian , International show jumper, Trainer & Breeder of world class horses. Greg who Owns Ballypatrick, is the fifth generation of Brodericks to be based out of Ballypatrick. Greg has brought Ballypatrick from a 70 acre farm to now a 350 Acre state-of-the art equine facility, that is home to some of the best bred horses in the world.

Greg’s List of Achievements in competition, in training and breeding are recognised worldwide.

Olga oversees the management and operation of Ballypatrick , Olga also manages Equine Evolve which caters for all auxiliary equine services.

Manager Ashleigh Skillen is the longest-serving member of the team, having joined Ballypatrick in 2008 and was Groom to MHS Going Global traveling all over the world before jumping in the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Niamh McEvoy

Niamh McEvoy has firmly established herself at the top level of international show jumping through repeated success at the FEI WBFSH World Breeding Championships for Young Horses. Riding the exceptional Orange de Baugy, she has secured multiple championship titles and podium finishes in Lanaken, confirming her ability to consistently deliver under the highest pressure against elite global competition.

Beyond the World Breeding Championships, Niamh has recorded major international victories at CSIO and five-star level, including standout wins at the Dublin Horse Show, along with strong results across leading European shows. Her record highlights not just individual brilliance, but a rare consistency in producing young horses to championship standard year after year.

Her achievements reflect precision, speed, and world-class horsemanship, reinforcing Ballypatrick’s reputation for aligning with riders who perform at the very highest international level.

Harry William Wood

Harry Wood continues to deliver standout performances with young horses produced at Ballypatrick.

A recent highlight includes his 4-Year-Old National Championship win at the Dublin Horse Show, a result that reflects both rider precision and the quality of Ballypatrick-bred horses.

Across national qualifiers and championship classes, Harry has consistently secured top placings with 4- and 5-year-olds, demonstrating careful production, scope, and rideability. His performances underline Ballypatrick’s focus on developing horses capable of excelling at elite Irish and international levels.
